Are you kidding me? Kirstie goes further than Chelsea? She stayed longer than a lot of people that were sent home. and yes, I voted.. but when the judges votes count just as much as the public , and they are giviing 9's and 10's when they should be judging the dance. fairly...then it keeps her there. This show has lost its credibility!! Chelsea's dances were more difficult and she is so much better than Kirstie. If I were Kirstie I would be embarrassed and think its a sympathy vote!!

We're ALL finished with "this show" -- since it was the last show of the season -- anyways:
Kirstie stayed so long because she got the most fan votes -- EXACTLY why the even LESS-talented Bristol Palin made it all the way to 3rd place last season, despite the FACT that she was told by ALL THREE JUDGES that she "looked detached" during her lackluster performances.
Kirstie, at 60 years of age, demonstrated a total commitment that was completely absent from the performances of Bristol Palin, who is just ONE THIRD the age of Palin.
You may have noticed that the 60-year-old Kirstie had a plenty of time to lose her youthful figure -- and it was painfully obvious that Bristol Palin didn't have one to begin with !!
Of COURSE the show has NO credibility -- it was lost when they put EXXON embezzler Tom DeLay on the show -- and sent packing with the appearance of the talentless Bristol Palin and her wolf-shooting, quitter/loser/crackpot mother, who seems to think that she's a grizzly bear !!
So, if it's credibility you want, try Bill Moyers on PBS.
Turn OFF the Fox network -- It's BAD NEWS for America !!

Even though the judges may not have been the ones who voted Bristol Palin into the finals, keeping Bristol instead of Brandy smacks of something is wrong here. This round destroys all credibility they had before this. I am so disappointed in the producers of this show. They have really blown it this time. This will be my last season as a fan of the show.

By-the-way --- as for Palin's "beloved Alaska", it's clear that Sarah loved Alaska so much that she ABANDONED her responsibilities as Governor only half-way through her term, thereby turning her back on the very people that put her in the Governor's Mansion in the first place !!!
With a totally irresponsible person for a mother, it's no wonder that Bristol got herself knocked up without benefit of a husband -- trailer-trash is trailer-trash, whether John McCain knows it or not !!!
Of course, that may be exactly why McCain picked her -- the rich Republicans needed the hillbilly and trailer-trash vote, so he scoured the wilds of Alaska in search of the not-so-perfect example of a trailer-trash hillbilly, never dreaming that he would stumble on the mother-lode in the form of Sarah Palin !!
By choosing the trailer-trash hillbilly who is also a religious fanatic, McCain picked the terrible trifecta !!!!
I enlisted in the USNavy back when Eisenhower was our President -- there was a Military Draft back then, and we had to be 21 to vote and/or drink alcoholic beverages.
There were not FIVE Catholics on the Supreme Court, and you could buy a Ford V8 (Chevy didn't make 'em yet) for 2200 dollars !!!
Labor Unions were strong, and business was good.
We had a progressive Federal tax rate that supported a healthy and prosperous Middle Class, and there were a plenty of millionaires to go around.
As each of those circumstances changed, our Nation began its downward spiral -
Funny thing about downward spirals -- they NEVER reverse !
If I had known then what I know now, I would have NEVER signed up to defend a county that has such total disregard for the health and welfare of it's citizens !!!

Please, please, please replace Brooke Burke as a Hostess. It was painful to listen to her interactions with the pros and stars. She would consistently ask the same questions, such as "how proud were you, how surprised were you?" leaving the stars and pros stranded to carry on a better dialog for the viewers, AFTER they had just exhausted themselves with their dance routine.

"It's not that I hate Brooke, but I feel not that she has been on, for what 2 or 3 seasons now, she doesn't seem to have improved any as an interviewer. She asks people the same stupid questions no matter what the situation is. As a former contestant/winner of the show she should realize when to ask things and what to ask. I'm also getting tired of her asking a question and then letting the person get a couple words out and then cut them off like she could care less what the answer to the question was to begin with. I know they have to keep the show moving along, but if you don't have time for the reply then don't ask the question." I sure have done my share of Brooke bashing and now is not the time to stop even tho I am convinced that she won't be replaced. I do think she has made some miniscule progress this season with her questions. But you are right about her cutting people off, it is so annoying not to mention rude. And the clothes!?! I thought the white gown she wore Monday nite for the final dances was beautiful, one of her best. And then Tuesday she shows up looking like she dove head first into a giant purple petunia. UUUUGGGGGLY!

Mark needs to check his big fat ego at the door. The guy is a talented choreographer but he is about as charming as a cobra. He drove me nuts all season the way he showed off and Chelsea even called him on it after his little temper tantrum when he didn't like what the judges said. Mark-it was supposed to be about Chelsea, not you. Gay or straight, I could not care less, Mark just isn't a nice guy. I caught that nasty look too, what a poor sport! Is it possible he might have lost votes for Chelsea simply because people didn't like HIM?

I think the most interesting couple would be Bristol Palin and Kyle Massey -- for several reasons ---
1. - Both are non-professionals that made it to the finals in a prevoius season
2. - Both were popular with the fans, and would draw big ratings.
3. - Both are nearly the same age (Bristol 20, Kyle 19), so would fit well together.
4. - Both of them live together (along with Kyle's Brother), so there would be a plenty of time and opportunity for them to work out the more physically demanding routines -- some of which may actually involve terpsichore.
5. - Mamma Grizzly is sure to be enthralled with the possibilty of obtaining a grip on "the Blacks vote" in her upcoming battle with Barack Hussein Obama in 2012. I'm sure that Sarah will remind us that President Obama is only HALF-Black, anyways, so she rightfully deserves to get half of the Black votes.
Sarah's pretty smart, though -- she might insist on the half that are actually alive !!
If they can't get Bristol and Kyle, they should go for another eclectic couple -- say Janet Reno and Michael J. Fox !!!

I have to say, Chelsea out-danced Hines and Kirstie last night, I don't know how their scores are so close to hers.
Hines can move his feet really well, but he doesn't look like a dancer when his arm is just doing nothing and he's also got that same look on his face every time.
Kirstie, though a good dancer for being more than twice as old as others, she is not the best dancer. At all. I think she's funny, she's just good (not great), but is certainly not the best.
That's why I used my votes for Chelsea & Mark. I hope she wins, but with the judges favoring Hines, he will probably win.

I was not surprised @ all!Palin may have stirred up some controversy, however Jennifer Grey was the best dancer.Contrary to ABC belief that the Palin wave brought them more viewers. I strongly believe Jennifer did. Dirty Dancing facebook has millions of fans, they confirmed they saw a surge in their fansite after Jennifer went on DWTS.Am just so happy the best & most deserving couple won.Jennifer & Derek are the best of the best on DWTS!

No-one on the show could hold a candel to Chelsea's dancing from the start. The others have thier tallants but dancing is not at the top of the list. It is a dancing competition after all is said and done. So please do the right thing. Vote for the best and the cutest couple, Chelsea and mark.

I liked Dancing With The Stars and the instant dances. I thought Hines, Chelsea, Ralph, and Romeo all did a good job. But congrats to Kirstie for scoring her first 10 for the Argentine Tango!!! She was great!! I thought Kirstie's instant dance salsa was good. Again, she may not be the youngest contestant this season, but Kirstie danced the salsa the best way she could. I could tell Ralph was in pain from his injury. Despite Ralph's injury, he went ahead and danced instead of giving in to his pain. Ralph kept a good attitiude and didn't give in to the pain that he has from his injury.
I've voted for Kirstie since week 1. I just hope she makes it to the finals and wins.

If she can add alittle more traditional content to the dances , she could win it all. I teach ballroom dancing and the most common response I get is that regular dncers don't even recognize the dances on the show because they are so out there. I love the performance but I love the old charactor of the dances as well.

I can't believe that Petra was voted off and Kendra is still on. Perhaps Petra is not well known enough and Kendra has a fan base of some kind which will keep her on long after she should be off--like Bristol Palin. Petra is a beautiful dancer and a beautiful person. Kendra's personality is so negative, even when she tries to be positive.

What was with tonight's show and the guest judge? I thought all of the couples did a good job. Kirstie did a good job on her jive. So what if she can't do the leg kicks that are involved with the jive. Kirstie got out there and danced. She should've deserved higher scores than just one 9. What is it with the regular judges when there is guest judge? It seems like the regular judges get all nit picky and just criticize instead of giving out compliments. I just hope that Kirstie can bring her scores up to make it to the finals.

Everytime I watch Hines dance, I can't help but remember the articles about him online about him being a dirty football player and trying to hurt others after a whistle. I can't enjoy his dancing. I guess I have to like the person outside of the dance floor to like them ON the dance floor. Does anyone else feel that way?

It's a lot harder this season...their scores are all very close. But I think it's going to come down to Ralph & Karina, Chelsea & Mark, and Romeo & Chelsie......or at least those are the three I want. ;)
Though Kirstie is a good dancer for her age and weight, I think her and Kendra are the weakest right now.
