Week 3
Mar 23 2009, 8:28 PM EDT | Post edited: Mar 23 2009, 8:28 PM EDT
It looks like Wozniak might be leavng this one. He has the second lowest score in DWTS history, and he would need a HECK of a lot of votes to be saved, as well as getting at LEAST a 16 on his dance off.

It looks like Denise will be in the bottom 2 with him.

That is one huge hill to climb for Woz. Agreed on Denise, too. Steve-O got a bad score, but he's so snakebitten with the injuries that I imagine he'll have enough of a sympathy vote to stick around for at least another week. Would be great to see what he can do when he's healthy.

I thought Lawrence and Ty were much improved, and Kim may be sneaking closer to that top group of Gilles, Shawn and Melissa.

Great show all around this week.

can wozniak even make up the difference in fan voting? i know he has a big following online, but it would be a miracle. Do you find this valuable?

Wozniak is so funny though, he got a horrible score, yet he was smiling and happy, and he's like "Oh it's okay!"

I think that smile was a reflection of this 'thought bubble' - "I'm a billionaire and could buy this entire network if I wanted to." Do you find this valuable?

Also apparently in the thought bubble: "I have so many people voting for me online that even a 10 from the judges won't knock me out." Do you find this valuable?

What a weird week! I can't say Denise didn't deserve it despite the improved score in the danceoff. She doesn't exactly endear herself to the public, or her partner, or anyone else, really. Do you find this valuable?

Goodbye, Denise! Your danceoff literally made me gasp in horror. Multiple times. I'll miss your awkward moves and your vapid personality. Do you find this valuable?

I love Maks - he is a wonderful teacher. I don't understand how Denise couldn't catch on to the moves with his talent in teaching. I won't miss Denise, but I will miss Maks terribly!

maks was put in a tough position this season. denise wasn't catching on, and he was obviously frustrated with her attitude. hopefully he'll get a better partner next season!

I totally agree with you. It was obvious to me that he was not a happy camper from the beginning. He needed someone with a bigger personality and a stronger body to dance with. i.e. Mel B. No one has been better than they were. I could always wish that Melissa had been put with him (when all the problems started) but then Tony wouldn't have a go with her, and as much as I love Maks, the very best teacher is Tony. He has more passion and is equiped with more understanding than any non professional. I just wish that after the past three years, he could have had a better partner. (Maks.)

Derek is cool and comforting as well. But -- Tony has had so much experience helping young people and old people feel wonderful about themselves. He has never missed a show, he has never won a show, he has never gotten a great partner and he has two twins at home. That just makes you especially patient.

Are you sure? I have to look this up! I know that Alec Mazio started the program - his idea, and he and Tony have always been good friends.

Well Brandon -- you were right!!! (and it is Alec Mazo) that was the year when there was such turmoil due to someone having an affair with someone.
