Because they come with a built-in voter base that reflects the very same public tensions that we come to Dancing to forget. The voting then becomes totally gerryrigged and a dishonorable old Fudd will last longer than someone who is charming -- perhaps Michael L, perhaps dorky Chuck L, likely one of the women.
