Scores:

Len Goodman
Carrie Ann Inaba
Bruno Tonioli total score

721

Judges' Comments:

Bruno: Plenty of attack, plenty of focus, plenty of determination, but it lacked fluidity for me.

Carrie Ann: You move beautifully, your lines are gorgeous, but what’s happening is you’re overexaggerating everything, but you did a great job.

Len: It lacked musicality, and part of it is from your arms, you’re just flinging them.

Natalie Coughlin and Alec Mazo

Judges' Comments:

Carrie Ann: That’s my girl! I knew you had it in you. That was so gorgeous, the intensity was there, and it’s hard to live up to such a dramatic opening but you did it.

Len: It was very expressive, I thought there was a good chemistry going. I thought it was an excellent performance.

Bruno: I knew you could fly, but you’ve gone stratospheric tonight! Sexy beast! Natalie, more of that.

Mya and Dmitry Chaplin

Dance: Rumba

Scores:

Len Goodman
Carrie Ann Inaba
Bruno Tonioli total score

10
1027

Judges' Comments:

Carrie Ann: That was ridiculous, I had chills the whole time. The rumba’s all about the sensual, the movements. It was complete fluidity.

Len: Be still my beating heart. It had chemistry. There was so much going on, sometimes to show a beautiful thing off, you need a little bit of simplicity to make it sparkle.

Bruno: You were the embodiment of the supreme seductress. You put all of America in the mood for love.

Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova

Dance: Samba

Scores:

Len Goodman
Carrie Ann Inaba
Bruno Tonioli total score

514

Judges' Comments:

Bruno: We’re going in reverse gear. Sometimes you dance this like a tank, no rhythm whatsoever. You have to get back into gear.

Carrie Ann: You definitely have rhythm, but you’re dancing too small. You’re a big man; I want to see you use that space like it’s a football field.

Len: The samba’s light and fluffy, it’s a very difficult dance to do, and I’m afraid it was a bit disappointing.

Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas

Dance: Samba

Scores:

Len Goodman
Carrie Ann Inaba
Bruno Tonioli total score
6
6
719

Judges' Comments:

Len: Parts of it I thought were really excellent. You came out and performed, which is key to the samba. You had quite strong legs. You just need to get some more rhythm through your hips and body.

Bruno: I knew you could switch it on! Improvement from last week.

Carrie Ann: Every week I see improvement, but I just don’t believe it when you dance. There are times of sexiness and wild abandon, but there are other times when I still sense the fear.

Mark Dacascos and Lacey Schwimmer

Dance: Rumba

Scores:

Len Goodman
Carrie Ann Inaba
Bruno Tonioli total score

618

Judges' Comments:

Len: The Rumba for the celebrity man is such a difficult dance. You’re either too soft and feminine or too hard and aggressive. I felt that was a tad on the hard side and lacked a bit of chemistry and warmth. Well done.

Bruno: It was an anti-climax. I didn’t believe anything was going on between you two. It was too staccato, it lacked the fluidity necessary for the rumba. Switch it on.

Carrie Ann: You’re up there with Aaron and Mya as far as your quality of movement, but you’re missing a connection. You’re thinking too much about the pictures. You need to find your sensuality, and that’s confidence. It was kind of uncomfortable to watch; you move better than that.

Lou Vito and Chelsie Hightower

Dance: Rumba

Scores:

Len Goodman
Carrie Ann Inaba
Bruno Tonioli total score

8
720

Judges' Comments:

Bruno: Ladies and gentlemen, he grown up, turned on and ready to rumble. That’s chemistry. That’s how to play a girl [fans self].

Carrie Ann: So cute, you two! The chemistry is unbelievable, and in the rumba chemistry takes you so far.

Len: Please believe me, I so much wanted to be nice. It was wild, you were hanging onto Chelsea. It became hectic, and I was disappointed.

Kelly Osbourne and Louis van Amstel

Dance: Samba

Scores:

Len Goodman
Carrie Ann Inaba
Bruno Tonioli total score
6
7
720

Judges' Comments:

Len: Your problem is confidence. You get through a routine and you start to panic a little. I’m convinced you’re a good dancer; you’ve just got to convince yourself.

Bruno: Compared to last week, for me you’re back. There were some very beautiful, difficult sections that you did very well. Just forget about doubt.

Carrie Ann: When you do it right, the technique is ridiculous. But stay focused.

Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough

Dance: Samba

Scores:

Len Goodman
Carrie Ann Inaba
Bruno Tonioli total score

7
823

Judges' Comments:

Bruno: The good times are back! Full of excitement and life – that’s what the samba’s all about! You need to sustain your strength, but otherwise good.

Carrie Ann: You’re fearless – you go for it all out, you’re hot. I thought that was super-sexy.

Len: It had quality stamped all over it. Great dancing, well done.

Debi Mazar and Maksim Chmerkovskiy

Dance: Samba

Scores:

Len Goodman
Carrie Ann Inaba
Bruno Tonioli total score
5
6
617

Judges' Comments:
Carrie Ann: It was really cute, but I thought it was just a hair safe. You’re such a fiery chick, so I thought it was safe. You should work on your expressions – you look worried.

Len: What you did, you did well. It was neat and precise, but it didn’t ignite. It was like cooking – you had all the ingredients but it lacked flavor.

Bruno: With such a fiery personality, it was slightly disconnected. In spite of the presence of the hunk [motions to Maks] you never put your hands on him.

Chuck Liddell and Anna Trebunskaya

Dance: Samba

Scores:

Len Goodman
Carrie Ann Inaba
Bruno Tonioli total score

617

Judges' Comments:

Len: I’m going to congratulate Anna. I thought you did a great job. I could talk about technique, but part of this show is about entertainment, and you thoroughly entertained me.

Bruno: I can really see the huge amount of work that went into this. It’s like the samba from “Zombietown,” but “Zombietown” is a hit!

Carrie Ann: You have the right attitude. I love the spirit. Samba may not be your best dance, but I really enjoyed it.

Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson

Dance: Rumba

Scores:

Len Goodman
Carrie Ann Inaba
Bruno Tonioli total score

721

Judges' Comments:

Len: I was worried that maybe you didn’t feel good with this dance, but as far as I’m concerned you did a great job.

Bruno: It looked pretty, it was a bit like Swan Lake, though, a bit airy fairy at times [Donny runs up and does a fake kiss with Bruno]

Carrie Ann: [Referring to the fake kiss] That was a bit awkward. Very daring to do a solo in the rumba. You started off great but you lost your musicality. There was a genuine vulnerability that I saw that was beautiful.

Tom DeLay and Cheryl Burke

Dance: Samba

Scores:

Len Goodman
Carrie Ann Inaba
Bruno Tonioli total score

515

Judges' Comments:
Carrie Ann: you’re easy on the eyes when you dance. This was so smooth and so genteel and so appropriate for you. But it wasn’t as exciting as it could have been, but with your feet… I give you so much credit.

Len: If I had a stress fracture with both feet, I wouldn’t be judging, let alone dancing. Well done. It was a bit careful, but I understand that.

Bruno: You’re a super trooper. Dancers go on regardless, but the performance suffers. Congratulations for doing it.
