- Len: The quickstep is a really tough dance. The top part of your body you have to keep calm, and down below it's all fast and furious...It was without a doubt your best dance.
- Bruno: Max, you found the right formula, because I'm telling you it's working.
- Carrie Ann: You two have been through a lot and as they say, that which does not kill us makes us stronger.

- Carrie Ann: It should be a crime that you can look that good and rumba sooo well!
- Len: For a great big guy, you've got quite musical arms, which I think is lovely, but I didn't get the feeling of a developing moment.
- Bruno: The children are going to be GORGEOUS! I'm telling you in a week you went from megatron to mega smooth, man, mega smooth!

- Carrie Ann: It was good, it was good, it wasn't nearly your best.

- Bruno: The beginning when you started, you played it classic, straight, it was a beautiful tango, then why go into a rag doll mode when it's not necessary?
- Carrie Ann: You were doing moves just like all the younger people...you're a sexy senior and you worked it.
- Len: I wish I was a sexy senior, but you got to week 5 on your merit.

- Bruno: One thing is for sure, you bring on the feel good factor because just watching you is a joy, but nevertheless, this was a fox possessed by disco fever, like Richard Pryor gone mad.
- Carrie Ann: I thought you made a very groovy Charlie.
- Len: It started bad and it gradually got worse and worse. That was a joke, I couldn't stand it. It was terrible.
