Len: The fight for the finals starts now...the door is open...three are going through...one's going to stay outside. For me, you just made a giant step through the door. Well done.
Bruno: Oh, Erin, it was like a symphony in blue. You have improved so much from the beginning. Your fluidity of lines has improved in leaps and bounds. The continuity of movement is great. It's just the timing on the turn there was a minuscule stumble, but I'm telling you, wonderful.
Carrie Ann: Erin, there is something...I just adore watching about you. There is such a grace and really, truly I do see you grow, and that is what the show is about. And watching you take that next step into this next area..tonight I thought you were a little nervous in your ankles. Pull it back together for the next dance, OK, but you are doing wonderfully.

Len: Well, I don't know what to make of it Maks, to be honest with you. You know I'm a traditionalist and I like a traditional Paso. This is a funky monkey type of Paso Doble. I didn't think your solo part...it was great dancing. I didn't feel that was really a Paso Doble. I was confused really. You're a talented dancer. I don't know whether to go with the talent or to go with the dance or performance...I don't know.
Bruno: You are a hot chick with an attitude. Tonight has turned into a feast. I cannot believe the standard of dancing I'm seeing. Another breakthrough. (to Maks) You were the one who bleep...bleep...bleep. She was amazing, you just fell at the end. Your performance was stunning.
Carrie Ann: That's what it feels like to be in your power. Honey, that was amazing. You're finally into your power, into the ground, all your movements.... Maks, really beautiful choreography.

Judges' Comments: Len: As usual we saw artistry and musicality..that we expect, but we saw a completely different side..the happy go lucky, the fun side. And I thought that was absolutely wonderful. In hold there was one or two little things, but overall I thought it was a great performance.
Bruno: You were as high as a kite out there. Talk about sparkle with a capital "S". I didn't know you had it within you, that vivacity and vitality. I haven't seen something like that since Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney.
Carrie Ann: OK, so sometimes when the movement is so pristeen and perfect and effortless we lose the attachment to the dancers because ther's no connection. I completely felt the connection tonight. You were completely dancing for us, completely aware of us, entertaining us the whole way. Thank you for listening to my pleas.

Judges' Comments: Len: The Paso Doble is the man's dance. The man should dominate and it is so difficult for a celebrity guy to dominate these professionals. You did it. You came out with attack and aggression. Fantastic! Bruno: Evan, strong, yet artistic.Plenty of attack. The best elevation we've seen in the Paso Doble this season. A Paso Boble with passion, and you got balls! Carrie Ann: Yes, he does. Evan, OMG, normally your movements are so beautiful and so big, but tonight they're from here and they're gutteral and they're ahhhhh! I'm sorry I loved it. | | |
