Len: You fulfilled one of my dreams. I always wanted to be kissed by a man with a beard...something with the prickles. Listen, because this is the finals, it doesn't mean our demands are any less.. in fact they're more. And I was really studying. The first thing, thank you Maks, you didn't take your clothes off, That was great. I've gotta say, the improvement from the last time you danced the Samba is fantastic. I thought it was full on, full of energy, wonderful.
Bruno: You were hotter than noon in the tropics. You were ? like I couldn't believe the results. My head is still shaking. I mean we wanted fun...we got it.
Carrie Ann: This dance is all about redemption, how much improvement, and we were looking for that. I thought you were like moved yourself up three notches. The movements were sharper, they were crisper...the confidence in your face. And it was just fun, and fantastic Erin.
Dance: Freestyle

Len: Freestyle is about risk and reward. You took an enormous risk. In parts you pulled it off. It was a mix, for me, of emotion and commotion. You know, I liked it, but I've got to be honest I didn't love it.
Bruno: Erin that was a psycho drama unfolding out there. You put your heart and soul into that. You took a huge risk attempting contemporary technique. And some of the steps you pulled off were quite incredible. Well done.
Carrie Ann: I loved the choice. I just think it was the perfect choice for you to make. It was so risky. Even Maks...I think what's great about this this is Maks you're risking, because this isn't your specialty...to make your partner look good. And I think that was good. The way you did Mandy Moores choreography was wonderful. I think you just had one stumble on the top of the bed, with the spin...other than that.

Len: Well, it had grace. It had elegance. It had a lot of movement, but occasionally when you're creating so much movement you just collapsed a little bit through your standing leg, but overall, I thought you did a wonderful job of it.
Bruno: Energy and lyricism as good as always. Very very good in hold, and I like to so the connection between you two. Smiling, romantic, sweet...I could feel the sparks.
Carrie Ann: Last time you did this you had a lot of problems going on...you were pointing your toes, your weren't quite fluid, you weren't performing to the audience, you weren't connecting. This time all of that was gone. It was a beautiful emotional, endless, enchanting dream. I loved it.

Len: Well I think you took the path of least resistance. I don't think it was what you wanted to do Anna. I don't think it was what you wanted to do Evan. And it certainly wasn't what I wanted to see, so there you have it.
Bruno: You were demented. I don't know if I was watching Footloose or screw loose. You were jumping about. You looked like you had been bitten by a tarantula. I know you want it very very badly, but you have to be very very careful, because what you lose is the precision and the slickness. And at this stage it is very very important. You went for it though, I must say.
Carrie Ann: I hate to do this to you because, Anna, you've done a great job with Evan this whole season, but that was odd. I mean really, when you do side by side dancing you have to match your lines. You guys were doing like two completely separate dances. Great energy though and beautiful last lift.

Len: I loved the subtlety of the choreography. There was some really in your eyes stuff, but then there was some really quite moments which I thought was ?. Occasionally Nicole I didn't feel, I again felt there was a little lack of confidence here and there....you should have settled more into your hips. If you want me to go on more I can, but it was great.
Bruno: OK...errroticism, sensuality, romance, seamlessly woven into something of extreme beauty. This was superlative.
Carrie Ann: Nicole, as far as your performance goes, the only way you could grow was to become vulnerable and to allow the edges to soften and all those edges softened. And this was just the most mesmerizing. I could not take my eyes off of any bits of the moment...and I saw the lift at the end...no it wasn't finished...I was waiting listening to the music, and it wasn't done.

Len: I saw Lindy Hop, I saw Salsa, I saw Quickstep, I saw Jive, I saw fun, I saw entertainment. It was a fantastic Freestyle.
Bruno: Dazzling dazzling creativity. You pushed the bar so high It is incredible what you've done. Technically superb...there was a slip at the end, but it is because what you are trying to do has never been done. A-ma-zing!
Carrie Ann: Ah Nicole and Derek, ok, that was the Freestyle we've all been waiting for. You were fantastic. You were like this crazy high octane dancing octopus, but you never stopped moving, you were connected. When you guys dance as a team amazingly. You slipped on that last lift...ahhh...it killed me.
