 PROFESSION: Former NFL Football PlayerProfessional partner: Anna Demidova Bio: Michael Irvin (nicknamed "The Playmaker) was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1966, and is one of 17 siblings. He played football in high school and went on to more success in the sport at the University of Miami, setting many records. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in 1988. His first three years were plagued by injury, but his last five years as a pro were very successful, resulting in three Super Bowl rings, and five Pro Bowl appearances. In 2007, Michael was inducted into the Professional Football Hall of Fame. Despite his success on the football field, Michael has had his difficulties off the field. He has had several brushes with the law for drug related issues and assault. Michael has also dabbled in acting, appearing in the movie "The Longest Yard" in 2005.
