David Alan Grier Bio: David Alan Grier was most recently the host of Chocolate News, seen on Comedy Central. David earned a master's at the Yale School of Drama and gained early success in the Robert Altman film Streamers. He co-starred with Denzel Washington in the stage production of A Soldier's Play and the film version, A Soldier's Story.
David broke through in the world of comedy with his stint on the variety show In Living Color, followed by roles in other sitcoms including DAG and Life With Bonnie. He has continued to appear in movies including Boomerang, Blankman, The Woodsman and BAADASSSSS!. He's also been successful at stand-up comedy, including hosting Comedy Central's Premium Blend.
David and his Season 8 pro partner Kym Johnson were eliminated in ninth place.
