Like most of you I have been a Donny Osmond fan since the beginning. My first concert was The Osmonds. I can remember it like it was yesterday my Grandmother took me and she took video of it and we still have it some place packed away. It was my Fathers movie camera and when they started out with the VHS tapes he had it transfered on one of those and who know where it is now. I have not seen it for a lot of years but it funny to watch it because they were really small on there since I was up in the "Nose Bleed Seats" but still a good memory.

We formed a Facebook group this weekend and have close to 700 members whio are excited about this...including Greg. :) The group is growing fast and the common theme is a lot of people who have not previously seen the show would watch it if Greg were on. A little known fact about Greg: He was voted best dancer in High School!

I was just watching an AM talk show and they were discussing the new rules for the stars training. The rules were made in hopes to try to prevent all the injuries that have occurred in recent years of the show. The rules include: 1. No training for more than 5 hours a day, 2. After every 2 hours of training they must take a 1/2 hour break, and 3. They must take one day off a week (no more training for 7 days straight).
I think these new rules are good, but do you think this will impact the quality of performances?

E! Online is reporting that Dancing With The Stars might have 16 (!) celebrities next season instead of the usual 13, and they'll eliminate two couples each week for the first several weeks. Seems like it might be a little too chaotic, and harder to get to know the stars during the season. What do you think?

I see Greg Louganis has been mentioned and I think it is genius. The show always seems to have younger olympic athletes, (Apollo, Sean, Misty) and older retired professionals (all the football players). Let's give an older olympian a chance. I mean Greg was to Diving what Tiger is to golf, or Federer is to Tennis. He dominated the sport for so many years, He is a great American Athlete and If his grace in the air translate at all to the dance floor he will easily go home with the mirror ball trophy.

TV Guide says Ashley Hamilton, son of George, will be on Season 9. Aside from his parentage, he hasn't really done much of anything. Would he be the most obscure cast member in the history of DWTS?
Other possible candidates: Steve Wozniak, Season 8 -- Very well-known in the tech world, but outside of that, who had heard of him? Christian de la Fuente, Season 7 -- Well-known abroad, but in the U.S., who had heard of him? Albert Reed, Season 5 -- Maybe people knew his face (or not), but his name? Probably not. Anybody else I'm missing? Discuss.
