Donny Osmond Actor, singer Osmond stated in early 2009 that he would not take part in Season 8 of Dancing with the Stars, because of scheduling conflicts. But he noted that he was offered to be in Season 9, and he accepted.

Vera Wang Clothing designer E! News reported that she'd already signed to appear in the DWTS Season 9 cast, but she told People that she was still considering the offer.

Derek Hough Derek Hough told Ryan Seacrest that he would be back for Season 9. Can be viewed here.
Kym Johnson Tom Bergeron stated that "...we will be seeing you also next season." to Kym Johnson when she participated in the Pro-Dancer competition.
