Donny Osmond	Actor & Singer	Donny Osmond stated in early 2009 that he would not take part in Season 8 of Dancing with the Stars, because of scheduling conflicts. But he noted that he was offered to be in Season 9, and he accepted.

Professionals	Notes
Anna Demidova	Anna Demidova won the Pro-Dancer Competition in Season 8, and is guaranted as a professional in Season 9.
Derek Hough	Derek Hough told Ryan Seacrest that he would be back for Season 9. Can be viewed here.
Kym Johnson	Tom Bergeron stated that "...we will be seeing you also next season." to both Kym Johnson and Maksimon Chmerkovskiy.Week5.
