This week the teams will be dancing to either the Tango or the Rumba, the dance of love. Will this turn into a pay-per-view event, like Tom Bergeron illuded to last week, or will it be a "walk" in the park for others?

The twist this week is that each dance will be given two marks: one for technique and one for performance or entertainment value. It will surely be interesting because some teams may be helped by this scoring and others may fall far behind. Could the stress of this new scoring system bring on more fights (staged or otherwise)?

What a pleasant night of dancing...no fights and lots of improvement. Chad, Kate and Pamela all showed great improvement this week and their scores reflected it.

Evan danced a stunning tango that landed him on top of the leader board, and Nicole seemed less than pleased that she was again second.

April 13, 2010 Result Show

DWTS answers the question "What happens when you cross classical ballet, hip hop, and violins?". Sade was the guest singer, and the yound dancers of tomorrow gave a wonderful performance.

Movie trailers were elevated to a new level tonight, in preparation for next weeks show that will have music from the movies.

At the end of the night, it was Aiden that was sent home and his emotional goodbye was very touching.

Len: "Nicole, if you were a racing car you would be a Ferrari, but you can't always drive a Ferrari at 200 miles an hour."
Bruno to Kate: "You're having a mini break-through tonight... at moments I actually believed you were dancing."
Carrie Ann to Pam: "There was magic happening."
Len about the Rumba, "It's a dance for the ballroom, not the bedroom."

	- The improvement that Chad, Kate and Pamela showed in their dances.
	- The pros demonstrations of the tango and the rumba.
	- The ending pose of Niecy and Louis' rumba.
	- The "thank-you" ring that Chad gave Cheryl.
	- Jake and Chelsie's footwork section of their dance where they went up the stairs, across the stage and then down the steps.

	- Kate moaning to Tony about her struggles with the custody battle.
	- Nicole's long face when she did not get scores on top of the leader board.
	- Jake tripping twice during his dance.

• Even with the stress factor elevated by being marked on both technique and performance, the teams managed to avoid the pitfall of fighting. This made the show more enjoyable to watch.

Teams that had historically received low scores and bad reviews seemed to have break-throughs with improved scores.

Tom Bergeron has announced that next week the teams will be dancing to iconic music from the movies.
