Belinda Carlisle Bio: Belinda Carlisle was the lead singer for the Go-Go's, whose biggest hits included "We Got the Beat," "Vacation," "Our Lips Are Sealed" and "Head Over Heels." Their debut album Beauty and the Beat was No. 1 on the Billboard chart for five weeks and ranked 413 on Rolling Stone's 2003 list of the top 500 albums of all time.

After the Go-Go's initially split in 1985, Belinda kicked off a successful solo career with the album Belinda, featuring the hit "Mad About You," which topped out at No. 3 in the U.S. Her biggest solo hit came with the release of "Heaven Is a Place on Earth," from her second solo album Heaven on Earth, which reached No. 1.

Belinda followed up with several more solo albums, as well as a 2001 album of new material with the Go-Go's, with whom she still tours occasionally. It turns out she also gets dizzy while doing the waltz.

Poor Belinda was eliminated on the first results show of Season 8, with Steve Wozniak the other celebrity in the bottom two.
