Niecy Nash Dishes on Her 'Dancing' Strategy, Future Projects

Filed under: InterviewsNiecy Nash entered the 'Dancing With the Stars' competition to have fun. She wasn't looking for a career change or to rehabilitate her image, she wanted redemption. After her dancing dreams were squashed, once in 8th grade and another time when she auditioned to be a Fly Girl, 'Dancing' was her chance to prove all the critics -- even her former dancer teacher -- wrong.
AOL TV got the chance to chat with the funnylady about her strategy for winning the mirrorball trophy, the mood on the set and other 'Dancing' dirt as the competition heats up.
On why she should win: Yes, I mentioned my little plea (read it here if you haven't) and described my new-found admiration for her. On the current season of 'DWTS,' Nash has come the furthest in her dancing technique, she appears to genuinely want to win and be on the show, and she's embraced her character. Nash agreed with all of my points and added that she plans on winning by being the most-improved dancer, citing the fact that the show is about the journey from week one to the finale. She said that viewers can see just how far she has come, especially because she entered the competition with little to no dance experience, unlike others in the cast.
More after the jump.
