'Dancing With the Stars' Performance Report, May 17
May 18 2010, 12:00 AM EDT (view original item)Tom Bergeron made the shocking announcement at the top of Monday's show that each couple in the final four of 'Dancing With the Stars' has been top-ranked among fans at different times throughout the season.
That bit of news combined with impressive dances in the semi-finals proves that the Season 10 mirror ball trophy could go to anyone.
Singer Nicole Scherzinger and her partner, Derek Hough, who celebrated his birthday on Monday, and Olympic-winning ice-skater Evan Lysacek and his partner, Anna Trebunskaya, are tied for first place with 59 points each. ESPN sportscaster Erin Andrews and her dance pro, Maksim Chmerkovskiy are in third place with 56. Football star Chad Ochocinco and partner Cheryl Burke are in fourth place with 52.
Censors had to hit the mute button when judge Bruno Tonioli dropped the 'F bomb' after Chmerkovskiy stumbled at the end of his second routine. (The enthusiastic judge also held up the wrong paddle during his and Andrews' first dance.)
AOL was on the post-show press line to talk to the final four about their performances and Bruno's slip of the tongue. Also, Trebunskaya's husband, dance pro Jonathan Roberts, weighed in on why this season is a "tragedy."
Read on to get the dish from the stars and their pro partners and find out which couple is taking Bergeron's reveal with a grain of salt.
